The Summer Solstice marks the highest and lowest point of the sun in relation to the earth
The word solstice comes from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still). In the Southern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice falls on December 21 or 22, and in the Northern Hemisphere, falls on June 20 or 21.
The Summer Solstice is a celebration of light, whichsymbolises motivation to look within ourselves and to do something new that aligns with our beliefs. Bathed with the energy of the sun, this is a wonderful time for us to embrace our lives and to express gratitude for the enriching moments we've experienced. Reflecting on our life accomplishments allows us to feel proud of our journey and to rejoice the present with prosperity and good spirits.
